It's been so long I don't remember my first fall but I'm sure I was doing something the bike was never designed for and I didn't have the skills to do. So many of them had that cause.
Never broke a bone but I have re-grown a lot of skin. Guess I'm lucky I'm one of those people who don't scar easily; the skin grows back eventually but the process is not pleasant.
Maybe I'm too stupid to be afraid after a fall or maybe I hit my head and cracked my coconut, but the thought of giving up two wheeled transportation never entered my mind.
As long as you still enjoy it, keep riding.
